Workshops
We
deliver free workshops to Social Fund staff in Jobcentre Plus, Pension Service
staff and also to advisor organisations. Alternatively, workshops can be
delivered jointly to Social Fund staff and advisors. These joint workshops can
often be the most useful and productive.
We deliver:
- overview workshops
that can be tailored to meet the level of expertise of the attendees and also,
to the time you have available
- a range of technical
workshops for people with a good working knowledge of the Social Fund.
All the workshops
are free of charge and we meet our own expenses. All we ask is that you
organise a room and invite 12 attendees.

IRS Training for Jobcentre Plus Staff
Currently,
we have a programme of training tailored to meet the changing needs of staff
who deliver the Social Fund. This includes training for new Social Fund
decision makers and refresher training for existing staff to help secure
continued improvements in the standard of decision making. We can arrange to
analyse decisions in order to identify training needs among existing staff and
tailor our training to those needs.
